This Buick is on schedule for restoration completion date of July 2008
The color combination is a Deep Brilliant Blue, and Black she is stunning.
This 55 Buick Super was a great example of a original basically Rust free Car.
The floors, trunk, are original to the car and solid. There where very few rust areas that needed repair "please see photo' these repairs where done correctly cut and weld. The Buick was stripped to metal, all jamb areas where also stripped including undersides of trunk and hood.
All the chrome, stainless, and pot metal on this car has been redone.
The front winshield and side glass is new.
The undercarriage, engine bay and trunk detailed and painted.
The number matching 322 number Nail head has been completely rebuilt, including new .030 over piston, rings, pushrods, .010 over rod and crank bearings, new timming chain, polished crank, heads redone including new valves and springs, new fuel pump, rebuilt starter, generator, carburator, radiator.
The Transmission, front end, and brakes have been rebuilt. The rearend serviced. The complete interior is also being redone in Black with Blue accent leather.
We are currently accepting offers on this Buick.
We also have two 1955 two door non post Buick Specials, a 1957 2 door Buick Special Non Post in line for the same restoration. We can do the interior and exterior color combinations to your specification's.
